Silence is Thought converging

Jose Garcia Villa

Silence is thought converging,
Unprecipitate, like
Dancer on tight wire balancing,
Transitive, budlike.

Till - her act finished - in
One lovely jump skips
She to the floor, bending
To make her bows, dips

Herself in bright applause -
Then silence is
No more. Now it is the rose
Called Speech.
